Pride Whānau Day at Nathan Homestead

Let's celebrate Auckland pride and the takatāpui and rainbow community in style with a range of activities for all the whānau. 

Our Pride Whānau Day is about coming together to celebrate love, community, diversity, safety, and inclusion.

There will be activities for all ages, from a tie-dye t-shirt workshop, to face painting, a cookie decorating station and Pride-themed storytime for tāmariki. From a self-defence class specifically designed for the rainbow community to a pon-pon-making workshop run by artists Lissy and Rudi. 

Wonder around the beautiful sites of the homestead grooving to the sounds of the DJ, and enjoy delicious kai while discovering the many activities over the day run by local South Auckland artists and facilitators, who are proud rainbow community members and allies.
