DAILY QUEER COMMUNITY MEAL

Rainbow Awakening offers a shared meal for queer community and allies, every day of the year. Yes, every day. So every day of the February Pride Festival we will be gathering to share vegetarian kai then offer a Korero Circle afterwards.

We are rooted in the reclaiming of earth-based ancestry. We support each individual to reconnect with their pagan or indigenous queer heritage. For Takataapui this means reclaiming traditional whakapapa and tikanga.

We are all volunteers and all events are by donation.

In this way we stand in the power and beauty of our true nature, sharing our gifts with whanau and community.

We mostly meet in each others' houses, with a monthly event at a community centre near K' road.
