Clothing and fashion are not the same thing, though they often relate to one another. The fashion system imposes structures that often feel unwelcoming to those in the queer community and other minorities as it offers only a eurocentric, binary idea of dress and the body. However, clothing is a phenomenon that has existed in human culture since the beginning of our story. Through discussion and practice let us challenge these systems and queer clothing to find our own sense of self while connecting to this beautiful human practice of dress.
