Dimensions in Black: Play Reading

"Dimensions in Black" is a triptych play: a story in three parts, told across three different timelines. It explores colonisation, migration and the consequent loss of belonging and autonomy, told from the perspective of Black New Zealanders of African descent. “Dimensions in Black” is the celebration of a people, spanning centuries, and a statement of hope, lasting generations: that while one home - out of necessity - may be left behind, another may, over time, be found.
