QUEER AUTUMN

Misheard Records presents QUEER AUTUMN: an alternative/queer punk gig taking place at Whammy Bar on the 22nd of February, as a part of the Auckland Pride Festival.

The leaves are turning orange, the skies are becoming greyer, but it's still Auckland Pride and shit can only get gayer. QUEER AUTUMN pays tribute to the intersections between alternative music and the rainbow/takatāpui community, bringing together a lineup of various indie rock, post-punk, emo, and alternative bands to celebrate what we've achieved and fight for what needs to change for queer and trans communities in Aotearoa.

Come out (haha) to Whammy Bar on the 22nd of February for a middle point between the fantastic queer club nights and wholesome literary workshops taking place throughout Pride Month. Have a bevvie and a mosh (or a classic Auckland slight head nod of approval) with some of the coolest new alternative acts to come out (haha) of Tāmaki Makaurau in recent years.
