Gender Affirming Fashion Upcycling

Every Sunday in February, come along to Te Manawa Library's Creative Space for an afternoon of gender affirming fashion upcycling.

Bring along one or two garments in your wardrobe that you would like to transform into something that is truly you. Learn upcycling and mending techniques for creative ways to chop and change your outfits into something unique.

This will be a safe, nurturing space allowing for your ideas and creativity to shine. If you have your own sewing machine, you are most welcome to bring it along.

Please bring any special fabrics you would like to use. Basic sewing materials will be available. This workshop is not recommended for beginners, some sewing experience will be necessary.
