He Angitūtanga: The Opportunity

Auckland Pride is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Producer to join our team. The Digital Producer will be responsible for developing and managing digital content that tells our story, builds a meaningful archive, enhances our presence, engages our community, and supports our advocacy and event initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and a passion for storytelling within our Takatāpui and Rainbow Communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and manage high-quality digital content across multiple platforms.
  • Build a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with Auckland Pride’s mission and goals.
  • Provide digital support for events, including live streaming and promotion.
  • Foster a vibrant online community by engaging with followers and facilitating discussions.
  • Manage Auckland Pride’s website and ensure it is up-to-date and user-friendly.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience: 3+ years in digital production or digital marketing.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in digital content creation using Adobe Creative Suite, web management, and social media platforms.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience working with designers, media outlets, and other partners.
  • Community engagement: Experience engaging with diverse communities, including Takatāpui and Rainbow Communities.
  • Cultural competency: Commitment to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and fostering strong relationships with Māori communities.
